Privacy, in plain language

This site is currently a static informational website. It does not offer accounts, comments, a newsletter signup, or a contact form.

Information this site does not collect

CookGauge does not ask visitors to create an account or submit personal information through the site. We do not currently run advertising pixels or analytics scripts on these pages.

Normal web requests and external links

Like any website, the hosting provider receives standard technical request data such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of visit in server logs. We link to manufacturers and retailers where useful; their sites have their own privacy practices.

Fonts are served through Google Fonts, so a visitor’s browser may make a request to Google to load those font files.

Future changes

If we add analytics, a newsletter, advertising, a contact form, or affiliate partners that process data, this page will be updated before those features are enabled.

Choosing a final domain or moving the static site to its production host does not by itself add tracking. Any change to what the site collects or shares will be described here in plain language before it goes live.
